Originally from Carrara, in the Tuscany region, Italian native, Bruno Nicoli, is a Master Vocal Coach, and the Director of Stage Music at one of the most important opera houses in the world, Teatro alla Scala (La Scala) in Milan, Italy, where he has been working since 1997, as well, he is also a Master Teacher at the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala, the young artists program at the famed theater. Mr. Nicoli has worked as repetiteur, pianist, choirmaster, prompter, and conductor, and he has collaborated with some of greatest conductors in the opera world, including R. Muti, L. Maazel, M.W. Chung, J. Conlon, D. Barenboim, and R. Chailly to name just a few, as well, he has also worked at the San Francisco Opera, and conducted many times, Puccini's operas, at the Puccini Festival of Torre del Lago. Bruno Nicoli is a master in all of the core Italian opera repertory; Bellini, Donizetti, Verdi, and especially, Puccini, and as a pianist, Bruno has played recitals throughout Italy, Great Britain, and France for some of the opera worlds greatest stars, including, Ghena Dimitrova, Raina Kabaivanska, Maria Dragoni, Tiziana Fabbricini, Luciana Serra, Salvatore Licitra, Giuseppe Filianoti, and Vincenzo La Scola.
