Eugenia Forteza
FOUNDER AND LEAD EDITOR OF 360° OF OPERA & MEZZO SOPRANO
Born in Paris, France, Eugenia Forteza grew up in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and moved to the United States to continue her musical education at age 19. Eugenia holds a Master of Music from the Opera Institute at Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, where she studied with bass-baritone Eduardo Chama. She also holds a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance, Summa Cum Laude, from the Boyer College of Music at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.
Eugenia founded 360° of Opera, a platform that brings to light all aspects of the art form, especially those that get lost in the background, in 2016. Eugenia is fascinated by every little corner of what happens in the theater, before, during and after a show, in order to bring opera to life and wanted to find a way to share her passion with everyone else. 360° of Opera is just the beginning of what she hopes will be a wonderful contribution to innovation in opera, community outreach, journalism, and music education. With a fan base of over 20K followers, 360° of Opera continues to evolve with regular guest contributors, exciting collaborations, live interviews, and new partnerships.
